Our Team

Allister is a Chartered Accountant. He joined Blyth Partners in 2008 and became a partner in 2011. Allister brings 10 years of commercial experience to the practice having held financial controller and senior management roles in industries such as import/wholesale, manufacturing and hospitality, both here and abroad. Allister also has exposure in the resources industry, in particular acquisitions and takeovers. In addition, since entering public practice Allister has drawn on other experiences when dealing with clients in particular primary producers and property development. Having been able to adapt this commercial exposure into public practice, Allister is able to apply this broad knowledge base to clients seeking advice before making those important business decisions.

Alex is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of Financial Services Institute of Australasia. He joined Blyth Partners in 2006 and has been a partner of the firm since 2008. Alex has years of experience in the profession (including a Top 50 accounting firm). This has exposed him to various industries including but not limited to finance & properties, primary producers, high wealth individuals, manufacturing, retail and construction. In addition, Alex has also spent some time in Commerce for a boutique investment / finance company as the accountant and was responsible for the internal and external reporting requirements of the company and its investments (with a total value in excess of $200m). Alex’s experience in both commerce and the profession has given him valuable skills and knowledge to guide you and your business through today’s challenging and changing environment.
